Irene Albright is a fashion DYNAMO. Amy Lombard and I had the pleasure of visiting the library the other day to get a tour and a few licks from Gus! What an impressive place. Irene shares, "After working as a stylist for 20 years and desperately seeking wardrobe for a shoot, I decided to build my own showroom; a safe haven for all my friends who were stylists to pull their shoots." The Albright Fashion Library, since opening in 1990, has expanded and evolved into a resource for the industry’s top stylists, magazine editors and costume designers. Our 7,000 square foot showroom holds an expansive collection of vintage pieces and the latest looks from the runway. Items from the closet have been featured in many television shows and movies such as Sex & The City, Saturday Night Live, House of Cards, Devil Wears Prada and Remember Me, to name a few! Our clientele is routinely featured in Vogue’s Top Ten Dressed of the Week, outfitted by Albright of course, and our clothing has appeared in countless notable magazines including Vogue, T Magazine, V Magazine and W, also to name just a few!
