BORIS THE RESCUE DOG AND JOHN SLATTERY HIS OWNER

If you are looking for a dog walker who can give your wardrobe a new look from head to toe...or tail, check out John the Stylist aka Mr. Boris Pup Conceirge. Here is the story he shared with us about his rescue Boris - originally answering by Manny until John gave him a new name and a new home.

"After a couple of bad experiences trying to adopt, I decided to give it another chance and went to look for a black Pug on petfinder.com. Just my luck, there was this unbelievably adorable 7 week old Pug named Manny up for adoption. Three days after I applied, I received multiple messages from NY Pet Rescue, an organization with caretakers in New Rochelle, saying that I had been selected to adopt a puppy from Manny's litter.

Determined to get Manny, I made sure I was the first one there.  This sweet little puppy, no bigger than my hand scampered towards  me. I lifted him over the over the gate. I just held this amazing creature as it licked my entire face; clearly it was love at first sight. Turns out it was Manny, and it was clearly fate!

It has been three amazing years that Boris (previously Manny) and I have been together. There is not  a day that goes by that I do not give thanks for Boris".  Who was actually rescued in this scenario is up for debate.
