Mia loves Jay and Mrs. Sizzle loves Mia loves Jay. Says Mia, "I'm a massive dog lover, owner of a crazy 4 year old Labrador and an 11 year old Westie, hence my love for creating my designs. I grew up on a farm in rural Ireland, so I have been surrounded by dogs, horses, sheep, chickens, etc my entire life.

I'm a molecular geneticist by day and create my beastie characters by night. I started creating my pillows in the Summer of 2013 to help raise funds for local animal charities. It really took off from there with requests from customers for commissions of their own furry friends. And so my little business started to grow.

All pillows are made from Liberty London Art fabrics and come with a feather insert.
It's very rewarding to help out these charities and equally heartwarming to hear tales of how much my customers adore their pets when requesting a customized pillow. Lots of dog lovers out there.

Each pillow is created by first sketching out the design, selecting the fabrics that will work best, cutting out each piece of fabric and machine stitching in a sketching style. I love to add extra elements in the form of dress up that bring out character and humor in each design. The final result, a quirky fun addition to your home and your furry friend forever on your couch.
Currently I sketch, cut out and stitch each pillow all by myself; but my future dreams are to expand my business and have a small team of doggy and craft enthusiasts creating these delightful designs with me. "
