Gillian Laub can certainly suss out a moment when people are involved.  I asked her to send me some images of dogs and this was the brilliant group of photos I got.  She shared that she likes to photograph things she loves - looks like dogs and people to me! The most recent photo was the top one of Shiloh and Bibi shot for the NY Times magazine a few weeks back.

Gillian was a recent recipient of  the Aaron Siskind Fellowship Grant and in May her first film, SOUTHERN RITES, will appear on HBO.
