It's time for the scoop on Koneko, America's first japanese cat cafe
Lots of people visit Japan for the amazing food. Or the fast-paced, neon-lit culture. Or the rich history. But Cat People visit Japan for the cat cafes – there are hundreds of them there. Cat People of America – rejoice! The US now has its very own Japanese cat café.

As connoisseurs of all things elegant it s no surprise that Tom Cashin and Jay Johnson's cat falls into the same category as their design business. When hearing the phrase, "restrained elegance" we are not quite sure if we are hearing about the business, JED JOHNSON ASSOCIATES INC. or their cat Dylan. So naturally we had to delve and this is what we got.

It has definitely been a cat week here at Mrs. Sizzle and this is a favorite painting of mine by my friend, David Konigsberg. I had rescued this sweet cat named Jazz from the streets of Hartford over a month before Alice walked into our lives. Jazz was malnourished, cold, and dumpster diving in order to survive. Countless treats and a few scratches later, she moved into my college dorm full time with me.
