Kim Roderiques photographs the Cape Cod Dogs
"My friend, who had just returned from Arizona, arrived with a very young puppy who had never even touched grass before getting to Cape Cod! We went to the beautiful Wequassett Resort with Murphy so that I could take some photos.

My Dog Hikes and swims and plays and licks and shakes - a short by Kloss Films
My Dog Hikes sent me this sweet video that one of Andrea's clients, Alec Maxwell of Kloss Films, made last week!
Alec on Andrea, "'Ru is in love with Andrea and My Dog Hikes. As you can see the pack run and swim all day long. Ru is able to burn tons of boston terrier energy in the beautiful country side and return home sleepy and content. I love at the end of the video, when Ru is back in the car, you can see exactly how exhausted he is."

Mrs. Sizzle and SWATCH took manhattan by storm and we have Amy Lombard pics to prove it
A fabulous writer friend of mine, John Ortved, had the pleasure of attending an event for the dog filled SWATCH launch of the My Pet and Me collection and this is what he had to say about it:
hangdog art makes mrs. sizzle very happy - hopefully it will you too
"Even while I was enjoying a 20-odd year stint as a travel writer, features journalist and magazine editor, I was always looking around for a valid reason to hang out with dogs all day. In 2012, I started indulging my hankering to paint, and I found that as I progressed, my subject matter became more and more canine – in a wry, not-too-serious way. I was hooked on the many expressions of every pooch I came across. Dog lovers responded by smiling, and Hangdog was born. It’s now an online shop selling fine art prints, stationery and textiles with an ironic, light hearted, doggish bent." - Megan Anderson
Graeme WIlliams discovered two dogs on a beach
The two dogs featured in this series were holidaying with their owner at a beach village called Pringle Bay, one hour’s drive from Cape Town. They would get up in the morning, run over the dunes, and then play energetically for the rest of the day. They seemed to be perfectly attuned.
LULU THE LEAPING WONDER DOG
I came across this amazing dog and owner on Instagram called @extrememairlulu and was undone. But became even more so when I heard she was missing! Read all about Lulu from her owners!
Naomi Harris was taken by the cherry blossoms in Japan. Can't you tell?
We love Naomi Harris! We have been to museums and heard stories about Maggie; now she takes us on a dog tour of Japan in the Spring.
I love Hope Gangloff's paintings with animals in them now on view at Susan Inglett gallery
"Gangloff’s frontal, direct and focused paintings recall August Sanders approach to portraiture. The model becomes an archetype under her gaze. Subjects are platonic forms cast into the contemporary - think the cook, the thief, his wife and her lover. But more than bloodless ciphers, these individuals have a story to tell which Glangloff relays through expression, posture and textured nuanced detail. No clue is left to chance but plays a role in a bigger picture. These are psychological portraits that remain timeless depictions of a modern taxonomy, employing form as style, and style as form. "

Hyla Frank Can Doodle a Dog and Turn it into Pillow Art
People now have their dog radar on, so I am sent many wonderful things, one of which were these insane pillows by Hyla Frank. Hyla went to Maryland Institute of Art and had always loved to doodle. All started when a friend of Hyla's was moving out of town and she decided to create a memento that would last forever.
Mrs. Sizzle loves a dog in a sweater
Dogs need a little extra fur sometimes so here are some great ideas of ways to keep them warm. Mungo and Maud, Ruby Rufus and Mr. Soft Top let Mrs. Sizzle test drive and keep the sweaters. Lucky us! We pulled in a few more to round out the bunch and we are in love with them all! Howie Guja arrived for the canine playdate and photographed our neighborhood dogs and some beauties that are up for adoption. Please, always consider adopting a dog if you are looking for a new furry friend.
