Elinor Carucci is thinking about getting a dog
And in 2003 she shot her friend's cats, Sasha and Digweed, named after the famous DJ. Maybe Elinor, after seeing so many pictures of dogs, will want one now.
Who really does run the roost at Nadine Johnson PR? Lupo wanted to share with us that he really is top dog.
A few weeks ago we stopped by the fabulously hectic office of PR guru Nadine Johnson to get the scoop on dog mascot Lupo (@lupojohnson). He's stolen every heart in the office, so along with photographer Kimberly M. Wang/Eardog.com and Mindy Montney of Dog & Co, we dug further to see what made this dog tick!
What's your favorite thing to do at the office?
I enjoy teasing my older sister Milou and supervising all the employees from my little throne at the top of the stairs. I also steal their lunches when they are not looking, but need to watch out as beach season is here and I’ve gotten a bit round around the waist.

Brigitte Lacombe and Studio cat
Before we get too carried away with dogs, I did want to say that the occasional cat, bird, elephant, rabbit, or African Pygmy Hedgehog might appear! But this cat, aka, Brigitte Lacombe's Studio Cat is one of my favorites.

WELCOME to the Park Hyatt NYC where dogs are people too
In the city that never sleeps, dog owners find it difficult to stay at a luxury hotel that allows pups to rest their heads. Since its opening last August, the Park Hyatt NYC has become a haven for just that. Just a short two block walk from Central Park, the Park Hyatt combines the chic atmosphere of a city hotel with the added comfort of bringing your furry friend. In addition to having the best amenities for pooches, The Park Hyatt NY donates 100% of the overnight dog fee to Friends of Finn and The Humane Society of the United States.
Pickle BeHolding has her hold on the art world and here she tells us how
What's your favorite neighborhood?
Is the park a neighborhood? If so, then any park where I can play fetch is my favorite neighborhood. But I also like the Lower East Side and Chelsea, I have a lot of friends there at the galleries mom takes me to!
C/O The Maidstone Hotel invited Mrs. Sizzle and Olia Saunders over for a sleepover with a few friends from Arf Hamptons
One of the toughest things about being a dog is watching your owners head out on a great relaxing vacation knowing that your future does not include the trip. In the best case of scenarios, you are shipped off to have a sleepover with some of your puppy pals, but an even better idea would be to bring us along.
Samuel Jurcic and rules for taking pictures of your dog
I was taken by this mesmerizing Instagram account that was irreverent and hysterical, and I needed to know the man behind the DOG:
"Before I started to use Instagram, I hadn't REALLY taken pictures. Sure, I had a compact camera like everyone, and one day I used my Smartphone too, but I was only snap shooting.
ANNE CHRISTENSEN IS A CAT PERSON AND HER CATS' NAMES ARE SUGAR EXPERIENCE WHITEPAWS AND SYLVIA BY MARCUS MAM
When people hear the words dog bed in a sentence, their first instinct is to picture some plush bed (in)conveniently placed on the floor of their home. But lately, designers such as Architecture for Dogs and Yark have struck an innovative, yet cohesive, balance between the animal and interior design worlds.
Kim Roderiques photographs the Cape Cod Dogs
"My friend, who had just returned from Arizona, arrived with a very young puppy who had never even touched grass before getting to Cape Cod! We went to the beautiful Wequassett Resort with Murphy so that I could take some photos.
Martin Usborne captures the grace of abandoned hunting dogs in Spain
I have long admired the work of Martin Usborne, a soulful English photographer who has concentrated a great deal on photographing dogs. I had the opportunity to connect with Martin and featured his work,The Silence of Dogs in Cars, on my site a year ago. He now is publishing an important book entitled, Where Hunting Dogs Rest.
Mrs. Sizzle and SWATCH took manhattan by storm and we have Amy Lombard pics to prove it
A fabulous writer friend of mine, John Ortved, had the pleasure of attending an event for the dog filled SWATCH launch of the My Pet and Me collection and this is what he had to say about it:
Graeme WIlliams discovered two dogs on a beach
The two dogs featured in this series were holidaying with their owner at a beach village called Pringle Bay, one hour’s drive from Cape Town. They would get up in the morning, run over the dunes, and then play energetically for the rest of the day. They seemed to be perfectly attuned.
Naomi Harris was taken by the cherry blossoms in Japan. Can't you tell?
We love Naomi Harris! We have been to museums and heard stories about Maggie; now she takes us on a dog tour of Japan in the Spring.

Did you know a training crate is meant to be temporary?

San Fransciso treats were the theme of the Swatch and Mrs.Sizzle party on Geary!
Another city and another fabulous launch of the #MYPETANDME series from Swatch watch! Mrs. Sizzle invited all her Instagram friends and many SWATCH devotees and club members came to extend their collections. We then "pet"ty cabbed it through the streets and down to the Embarcadero looking for new furry friends to join the fun!
Mrs. Sizzle loves a dog in a sweater
Dogs need a little extra fur sometimes so here are some great ideas of ways to keep them warm. Mungo and Maud, Ruby Rufus and Mr. Soft Top let Mrs. Sizzle test drive and keep the sweaters. Lucky us! We pulled in a few more to round out the bunch and we are in love with them all! Howie Guja arrived for the canine playdate and photographed our neighborhood dogs and some beauties that are up for adoption. Please, always consider adopting a dog if you are looking for a new furry friend.
TIM BARBER GREW UP WITH ANIMALS
And here is Tim with his family circa 1983. His first pet was Jonah, a black Labrador. Since then animals have creeped into Tim's pictures now and then.
Mrs. Sizzle sat with PR Consulting and the result was canine cool. Kimberly M. Wang documented and Dog & Co brought the goods!
When Pierre Rougier and Sylvie Picquet-Damesme say “sit,” it’s not just their pups who listen. The joint force behind PR Consulting, the fashion industry’s most elite PR firm, it’s Rougier and Picquet-Damesme who determine the seating for Dries Van Noten, Christian Dior, Zero + Maria Cornejo and Versace. PR consulting chooses the seats for buyers and editors, entertainers and their entourages; they herd fashion’s cats—including the kings of the jungle. And not just at the shows— when you read about a party at the Chateau Marmont, or a Louis Vuitton dinner, it’s PR Consulting who’s behind it, beginning with the guest list.
